Hello. I'm Richard Ager. Welcome to this Friday edition of NH Outlook. On this program, we are going to focus on the fate of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Our guests are three journalists from the Seacoast region who have focused on issues surrounding the yard. They are Shir Haberman of the Portsmouth Herald, Doug Guarino of Foster's Daily Democrat, and Mike Pomp, news director at WTSN. Welcome all.
Wednesday was the big day for shipyard supporters. About 3000 of them travelled to Boston to attend the hearings being held by the Base Realignment and Closure Commission. Here's some of what happened - and what they heard.
